Welcome to Xiao Yao's world!!
Hello, nice to meet you!
I am a graduate from Shenzhen University's English Education program, Class of 2024~(˵¯͒〰¯͒˵)~. My university studies focused on English language and literature, teacher education, and basic legal knowledge.
I love reading mystery novels, listening to music, cooking, and making desserts and cakes.
I am passionate about all things detective, mystery, and suspense-related, such as the novels by Agatha Christie, the Queen of Crime Fiction (her novel The Murder of Roger Ackroyd pioneered the “unreliable narrator” literary technique, which inspired my thesis research). I also enjoy TV shows like Who's the Murderer and games like escape rooms and the online game Paper Bride.
Lastly, my all-time favorite is the anime Detective Conan!
